Robin Road Features
Native app Robin Road is a native app where an ASP.Net Content Management System has been linked to iOS and Android platforms (written in Swift for iOS and Java for Android); with a .MSSQL database to ensure the best user experience on each platform. We have created individual technical platforms for iPhone, iPad, Android phones and Android tablets. Robin Road is not a Progressive Web App.
LanguagesThe Robin Road CMS currently supports all the main Latin-based languages, so text can be entered and read naturally in many countries. And we’ll soon be extending our language / font capability to accommodate Middle East, Central Europe and Asian characters; thus giving Robin Road global use.
Download Your AppYour app is available from within the Robin Road platform. Once Robin Road has been downloaded, users simply search for your name and tap on your icon to add to your ‘Community’. To add another app account, just return to the Robin Road home screen and repeat the process. Then tap ‘My Community’ to switch from one to another.
Common Framework SystemThe Robin Road technical infrastructure is utilised by all our clients. We have three different ‘templates’ to cater for most types of information that will want to be presented.
UpdatesWe are continually seeking to improve the user experience and are therefore regularly updating the code to assure optimum speed and reliability and looking at introducing new features and functionality.
Instant PreviewWe deliver your app for you in the first instance and make a visual preview available in a way that is confidential to you. When you are ready, we’ll make your app visible in the Robin Road platform.
Content DuplicationWhere there is content that is common to a number of clients (eg Laws of the Game for grassroots football), we have the capability to quickly and easily duplicate it into each individual account.
Activate or deactivateYou can choose to deactivate your App in Robin Road in Robin Road for a period of time where it will not be visible for installation … and then re-activate it again at a desired time.
Restore ToolWe’ve set up a fail safe in the event that you delete content by mistake. When a section has been marked for removal, you will have to repeat the process to remove from the database. But if you do not wish to permanently remove the content, just tap the ‘restore’ icon to return it to view.
Offline UseYour text content is synchronized from your back office and stored directly inside the app so that it is accessible without a signal. Images, external links and the ability to download a document will require a signal, however. 
Search: App AccountsBecause Robin Road is a platform that has capability to contain any number of individual app accounts, there is capability to search for businesses and organisations within Sectors or within Locations.
Search: In AppThere is the capability to search for keywords within your app; but we’ve structured it sensibly so that the search reads from heading and sub-heading fields only. This is to help assure that the results are meaningful and reflect the content that is being desired.
Unlimited ContributorsYou are able to share responsibility for maintaining content in your app to as many people as you prefer. All with full editing and publishing capability.
Multi Level AccessYou are also able to devolve responsibility for maintaining specified content in your app, where access is allowed to individuals to look after individual sections.
Content Management supportWe are pleased to help you to manage your content in Robin Road on a fair and sensible basis.
High PerformanceThe text information that is presented in every App in Robin Road is embedded in the app code. This means that the content is available locally on your device without having to send a request to an external server (which is when you get a buffer indication). Which helps to assure that content is delivered at lightning speed.
Easy to Use Content Management System (CMS)The Robin Road content management system lets you create your app without the need for any coding skills. 
Reliable architectureHigh availability and high capacity, your app on Robin Road is hosted on a technically robust infrastructure. Server redundancy prevents interruptions to the service.
